COVID-19 UPDATE MAY 1, 2020

We are encouraged by the news of our communities slowly returning back to *some* normalcy! As with everything we have done at this time, the safety of our guests and our staff are our top priority.

Our stores will continue to offer curbside pickups to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. Just as the state is making a slow transition back to every day life, we are as well.

Beginning Friday we will be taking advantage of the nice weather ahead and will be offering patio seating.

It will look a little different.

We will be following social distancing guidelines, spreading our tables apart to allow for proper spacing amongst tables.

No more than 6 people are allowed to dine at each table at any time. We will have staff around to help with clearing space on your patio table & disinfect areas after each use.

We also encourage our guests to utilize our sanitization stations available and dispose of your trash in the designated areas to minimize exposure to one another.

The best way to enjoy a day/night out with us?
Give us a call to place your order, pick up meal curbside and select a table (when available) to enjoy your meal! You are also able to order your meal at our curbside tent.

There will be no reservations of tables. If there is a table available, you are welcome to it! If not, your food will already be conveniently packaged to go.

Meals will be packaged as to-go regardless of how you choose to order.

As with everything that we’ve been working through in this season, we will adjust our own protocol as needed. So we ask for patience and love during this time!

We look forward to the days of full patios and full dining rooms, but until then we’re excited to offer this option to you!

 

COVID-19 UPDATE MARCH 12, 2020

Due to COVID-19, the fluidity of every hour and the regulations mandated by surrounding governments, we as a company have shifted to the to-go business. Along with all the sanitization measures we have already implemented (See below), Aw Shucks and Big Shucks will take the following measures: We will be operating on temporary hours based on to-go business and demand and will be updating our community as any change unfolds. We offer select family meal options for either pick-up curbside at select locations or for delivery. Follow us on social media for updates to our meal options or give us a call. If you should choose delivery we are pleased to offer alcohol add-ons! Including beer and wine. To-Go delivery with alcohol must be placed by calling your local Shucks. One of our team members will deliver to your doorstep. *Alcohol will not be offered through our third party delivery partner, DoorDash. Our hearts go out to all of those affected. We want to continue to be your go to Seafood favorite. We're on-call for your pick-up togo orders and delivery! Our third party partner, ChowNow, is also a great alternative if you prefer to stay in the comfort of your own home. You can place your order with ChowNow here for Aw Shucks and here for Big Shucks. We are following the CDC closely and taking their guidance on all relevant issues. Currently, they recommend regular sanitizing and hand washing as one of the most important preventative measures. As the CDC updates their recommendations, we will change our processes quickly.

Sanitization

We are closely monitoring the current state of the Coronavirus. We understand the extreme importance of proper health & sanitization in the food industry. As part of our normal practices, we will continue to follow all proper food safety procedures, sanitizing our surfaces continuously throughout the day. Our team members are required to wear gloves when preparing food & wash hands frequently. Our focus is on continuing to provide the highest level of food & service to our guests.
